See also the last sections of the following files for list of SUPPLIERS: av_wiring, electric_pwr, hvac_hardware, lighting, pa_system, plumbing, sprinklers ADHESIVES: Exists thin epoxy with the viscosity of water which will "flood" cracks provided they are sealed from the outside below the fluid level. White Cap & Progressive Fastening (909) 945-5530 has them. Also Throop rents dual cylinder caulk guns for epoxy caulk (for both thin and normal types). ROPE: New Atlantis, Costa Mesa had 5/16" polyester for 12 cents/ft (1992). McMaster-Carr, Santa Fe Springs, 310-692-5911, sells polyester rope by mail order. Get catalog. Throop purchased 3/16" polyester rope for clerestory windows shade pulls (on Del Mar side) from them in 1992. They shipped it via United Parcel on credit. To buy polyester rope in a store, one must go to a harbor: Marina del Rey (West Marine), San Pedro, Costa Mesa (New Atlantis), or Newport Beach. Nylon climbing rope available at Sports Chalet (La Canada) & REI San Dimas (or thru catalog) but sunlight resistance is inferior to nylon. For climbing harness check out Pigeon Mountain Industries who allegedly make a comfortable one with wide straps for long-term hanging on cliffs/walls.
